DIGITAL SNAP TV SERIES:

In 2005, Jack hosted his own 6 part TV series, entitled 'Digital Snap'. The series was the first of it's kind aired in Australia. Shown nationally on Australia's Foxtel Network (on the 'How To' Channel) the series simply advised viewers 'how to take a better photograph'.

Looking at ways to improve your photography when shooting pictures of sport, weddings, at the beach, children's parties and cars, the series also explained which cameras are out there on the market and which one is best for you to buy. Episodes 1- 2 of the 6 part series are available here to view.

FINALIST - 2010 SHOOT THE CHEF PHOTOGRAPHIC AWARD

For the 3rd year in succession, an image by Jack Atley has been selected as a Finalist in the 2010 SMH Shoot The Chef Photographic Award. As part of The Sydney International Food Festival, photographers from around Australia are asked to 'shoot a chef'. It could be a three hat chef, the local take-away cook around the corner, or perhaps your favourite or most interesting home cook. There are two categories: professional and student. Prize winners will receive two return economy flights to a major city in Europe. The finalists work will be displayed in an exhibition running throughout the month of October, 2010. In April 2010, Jack's work was announced as a Finalist in The 2010 Sony World Photography Awards.
